Can I pay online?
Not for the moment. Upon online registration, you will receive all the payment options details. Please note that registration is complete only after payment.
What are the payment options?
You can either make a bank transfer or send your credit card details by fax or by e-mail to our Conference Coordinator.
How do I receive an invoice?
The invoice will be sent after payment is confirmed.
How does VAT work in Italy?
For services such as seminars, conferences and symposiums, Italian VAT applies to private individuals who do not have a VAT number and Italian customers (private individuals and businesses) who have a VAT number.
Can I have more details about VAT?
Here is the official law text:
From 1 January 2011, new rules have been introduced for intra-community VAT concerning B2B and B2C foreigner taxable persons. Article 3 of Italian Law 11 February 2010 n. 18, from EU Directive 2008/8/CEE, says that services in respect of admission to cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, educational, entertainment and similar events such as seminars, conferences and symposiums, will be taxed according to the status of the customer:
- Customers who do not have a VAT number (B2C, Italian or EU or EXTRAEU private individuals) pay Italian VAT
- Customers who have a VAT number (B2B, EU or EXTRAEU foreign private individuals or businesses) do not pay Italian VAT
- Customers who have an Italian VAT number (B2B, Italian private individuals or businesses) pay Italian VAT
