Tim Dunne

Tim DunneTim Dunne is an innovation and creativity facilitator based in Paris, France and San Francisco, Ca. Tim works with teams using creative techniques to develop strategy and hone thinking.

Tim has twenty years of experience in corporate selling, finance, management and facilitative leadership. Tim relies on his experience designing strategy, as well as his training in personal goal-setting and learning/leadership styles to work with his client’s to achieve ambitious team building and empowerment goals. His focus is breakthrough learning that invites new behaviors by individuals. Transforming culture to support an organization’s strategic goals requires discovering the union between these new behaviors and the organization’s mission, and then developing structures to support this union. Tim has brought this skill set to his consulting work with corporations including Deutsche-Bank Berkshire Mortgage, Procter & Gamble, Societe Generale, Invesco, TE Connectivity and the National Science Foundation.

Tim has been invited to present at workshops and conferences in South Africa, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States. He co-developed The Stakeholders, an in-depth workshop that expands self-awareness and moves people to creative action. Other workshop titles he’s developed include: The Humility of Leadership, Busting Assumptions and Structured Creativity for Entrepreneurs.

He has written articles on the subject of change, teambuilding and creativity and innovation and loves to lead intensive workshops around the world, based on his own work, and on the Osborn-Parnes Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Process.

Recently, Tim has helped bring structured creativity and innovation to the National Science Foundation and the UK’s Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Councils, using the Sandpit model to help academic researchers develop cutting edge research proposals to propel science and industry into the second half of this century. And now Tim is a blogger and public speaker. He is a long time member of the Busy Professionals Toastmasters speaking club in Paris, and has competed and won awards in speaking competitions in France and Belgium.

Tim graduated with a B.A. in Economics in 1986 from the University of Rochester, and has earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the William E. Simon School of Business Administration.
