Sylvain Matte is President of Coefficient Management in Montreal, heading management consultants and creativity brokers.
Fluent in both French and English, his background includes a degree in IT, an MBA, 14 years at Alcan, and more than 15 years as a consultant.
His areas of expertise include strategic planning, change management, organizational diagnostics and development, training and facilitation in creative problem solving and applied creativity. He has managed projects, provided consulting services, delivered training and facilitated sessions in Canada, the United States, Brazil, Europe, Northern Africa and China.
He teaches graduate courses at both HEC Montréal and the University of Sherbrooke. He is a member of the Creative Education Foundation and a leader since 1993 at their Creative Problem Solving Institute conference where he was awarded their Distinguished Leader Award in 1999 and the Distinguished Service Award in 2005.
At CREA, he has been present since the first days of the conference, he has helped design and deliver core programs for the first 5 CREA and is now serving, for the 2nd year in a row, as Program Coordinator.
