Hunton is a former Chairman and CEO of a public banking company in the US, and he is currently Chairman of a community health system (hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility).
He also serves on the boards of Creative Education Foundation (vice-president), and Great Meadow Foundation (field events and equestrian center).
Hunton has served on a number of boards including George Mason University and Virginia Bankers Association.
