SUBMIT AN EXPO!
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF CREATIVITY EXPO PROPOSALS
CREA CONFERENCE 2009 will offer a diversified range of interactive workshop sessions:
EXPOs: 90 minute sessions, to be held on Friday afternoon and on Sunday morning. Expo sessions will be offered within three separate tracks:
- Business & Leadership;
- Creativity Models & Methods;
- Personal Development.
EXPO-NIGHT: 60 minute session to be held in the evening after dinner, on Thursday and on Friday.
- Expo-night are highly interactive and entertaining workshops that pertain to the area of Artistic Expression.
- Expo-night are ideal venues for activities such as: painting, sculpting, dancing, singing or playing music, humor, improvisation, body expression, mime, and the like.
- Unless it is necessary as a vehicle for entertainment, an Expo-night should be a 'Power Point free zone'!
All sessions can be proposed and presented in one of the following 3 languages: English, French, Italian.
If you plan to offer linguistic support in another language, you can add this option in the form.
Particularly, we welcome Expo-night that involve other means of communication than verbal language and can attract an international mix of participants. No more than three proposals per presenter can be submitted
To assist you in your proposal development, we ask that you consider the following guidelines:
- Keep your session experiential and interactive;
- Make deliberate connections to the creative process;
- Utilize multiple methods and media that will appeal to diverse learning styles;
- Be sensitive to the needs of multi-cultural participants, both in content and process;
- Provide handouts and visual aids that will allow participants to follow what is presented and discussed, even though their native language is not the same used in your workshop.
The deadline for proposal submission is January 17th, 2008. We will finalize our selection at the end of February and notify all who submitted proposals at that time.
Presenters who are selected for the Creativity Expo (Expos, Expo-night) will receive a discount of EUR 150,00 on the registration fee at CREA (but no discount can be applied to accommodation costs) and can fully enjoy the programs offered by our conference.
