You can fly to Milan Malpensa (MXP)
(See Malpensa Site).

From there you can choose to get to Sestri Levante by renting a car (or taxi) or by train.

From Malpensa Airport by car

Take highway A8 towards MILANO, then take A50 until the sign GENOVA LINATE BOLOGNA, then take A5 until the sign GENOVA. Now take A7 toward Genova and follow A12 in direction of LA SPEZIA LIVORNO GENOVA and exit at Sestri Levante. About 2 hours driving.

From Malpensa Airport by train

Take the Malpensa Express train to Milano Cadorna, then go to Milano Central Station ( 5 subway stops or 15 minutes taxi) and take a train for the Riviera Ligure which stops in Sestri Levante - about 2,5 hours by train.
