The field of creativity and problem solving features a large variety of thinking tools. This program will provide participants with further exposure to problem-solving tools and techniques drawn from several areas of theory and practice: from the larger field of Creativity Processes and Methods (other than CPS), to the fields of Strategic Management, Problem Solving and Decision Making, and Total Quality Management.
The tools will be learned and applied within the new Thinking Skills framework for CPS: each step of the model is linked to a thinking skill that can be sharpened and developed through the application of specific thinking tools.

Languages: one class in English with support in Italian.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will be able to:

• Expand their thinking skills by learning and applying a diverse set of problem solving, decision making and creativity tools;
• Understand the thinking skill framework for CPS and apply the thinking skills model to assess needs and to plan appropriate interventions;
• Expand their application of CPS by adding to their toolboxes and to develop their confidence in applying a wide variety of tools.
