Tools & Techniques for CPS Thinking Skills (En)

Stimulating creativity within the Creative Problem Solving process (CPS) is kept fresh by using a variety of tools and techniques. Tools are useful to generate truly unique and innovative ideas, and they also provide a clear, systematic way of choosing the right ideas for maximum impact.
This programme provides participants with a variety of tools that can be applied at the various stages of the CPS Thinking Skills framework. Each step of the model is linked to a thinking skill that can be sharpened and developed through the application of specific thinking tools. The tools taught are drawn from the larger field of Creativity Processes and Methods (other than CPS), and other fields such as strategic management, problem solving and decision making, and total quality management.

Learning Objectives

Participants will:
• Develop confidence in applying a variety of tools when using the CPS Thinking Skills model
• Enhance creative thinking skills by learning and applying a diverse set of problem solving, decision making and creativity tools
• Understand how to best assess needs and to plan appropriate sessions within a CPS Thinking Skills framework using various tools
