Building Innovative Teams (En, It)

Possibly one of the strongest trends in organizations today is the reliance on team work.

This program will focus on the principles and practices that lead to the development of healthy, productive and innovative teams.
Participants will work with a team development model to understand how teams are formed, how team members can build strong relationships, and how they can align their contributions to achieve higher levels of performance, creativity and collective results. Participants will also examine some of the most common dysfunctions that teams can experience and practice techniques for assessing and intervening to maximize team cohesiveness and effectiveness.

Languages: one class in English with support in Italian.

Learning Objectives - Participants will be able to:

  • Identify the developmental processes that teams generally experience and develop leadership skills that facilitate the growth of productive and cohesive teams;
  • Apply a model of team development that can be used to build and sustain healthy relationships among its members;
  • Practice techniques that team leaders can use to effectively prevent team dysfunction and lead to increased trust, commitment, accountability and performance;
  • Develop effective methods of managing conflict productively among team members.

Leaders: Paolo Sbuttoni, Tim Dunne, Deborah Potts
